Piano lessons at home was born with the idea of helping parents and beginners to choose the right tools to start learning piano. Having taught hundreds of students in the last 15 years I have realised that most beginner students choose the wrong instrument and have spent a lot of time using the wrong book. There are a few points that you need to have clear when you start learning an instrument.
- Your digital piano or keyboard needs to be weighted – 88 keys
- Learning to read music is important
- Having books that help you learn progressively is key
- Practicing technique exercises to help your fingers respond to what you want to play.
- The right piano stool – if you are a parent and your child is not at the right height, their technique will be affected and they will not enjoy seating for a long time in the wrong position, it will also cost back problems in the long term.
- Having piano lessons weekly with a teacher you get along with.
- Make this process a fun experience using worksheets and songs that you love.
I hope this website helps you find the right information and you can start learning piano with confidence and I wish you a wonderful time playing beautiful piano music
